How to use the spice rub:
Unwrap the ham and pat it well with paper towels to dry off any juices. Place on a baking sheet. (It's very helpful to place on a cooling rack on a baking sheet for air circulation if you have one.)
Slather on yellow mustard to the ham as a binder and then sprinkle the bbq rub liberally on the ham. I like to place the ham with the meat (and bone) side facing down on top of a baking rack.
Place foil over the ham and bake at 325° for 10 minutes per lb. until internal temp reaches 145°.
You can remove the foil, turn temperature up to 425°, and finish baking for 5-10 minutes to set glaze. (Optional)
